Our History
I started Diamond P Leather in 2014, not with a business plan, but with a deep need to create something that reflected the life I was already living. Leatherwork became both a creative outlet and a way to stay closely connected to the Western community that has shaped me from the very beginning. What started at a workbench has grown into a brand built on craftsmanship, purpose, and respect for tradition.
I’ve spent my entire life showing horses and competing in Western disciplines, and I’m far more comfortable in a barn than anywhere else. That way of life taught me early on that good gear isn’t about trends—it’s about function, feel, and trust. When something fails in the arena or on a long day horseback, it matters. That firsthand experience has guided every piece I make.
At Diamond P Leather, I create custom leather goods ranging from chaps and headstalls to purses and everyday accessories. Each piece is designed with the same mindset I bring to the saddle: it needs to hold up, fit right, and look good doing it. I pay close attention to how leather moves, where it rubs, and how it wears over time, because I’ve lived with that equipment day in and day out.
More than anything, Diamond P Leather is a reflection of a Western life well-lived. It’s built on years spent in dusty arenas, early mornings at the barn, and a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship that supports horsemen and women in their everyday work. Every piece tells a story—my story—and honors the community, traditions, and grit that continue to inspire me.
